Walks
Take some time to walk in our woodland and enjoy the babbling of the stream making its way through the valley. Look out for the wildlife (we have badgers, foxes, buzzards, red kites to name but a few) which live in and around the woods. There are pathways and rough tracks through the woods so good footwear is recommended.
Once you have explored the woodland, you can venture further afield on foot, down the surrounding quiet lanes, footpaths and bridle ways. There is a lovely 30 minute loop walk, into the village of Rhydlewis. The village of Ffostrasol is 20 mins walk away. It boasts the village shop and the Ffostrasol Arms which serves great food, has a good selection of beer and in colder weather, a roaring fire.
One of the biggest draws for walking locally is the Ceredigion coastal path, just 15 minutes drive away. Stretching 65 miles along the breathtaking coastline all the way from Cardigan to Ynyslas. It’s easy to dip in an out of the walk with car parks, cafes and beaches dotted along its entirety.
